HPMini Laptop
The HP 2133 is a great laptop. I have been using it every day since I purchased it. The HP 2133 is small, lightweight and very portable. I have been looking for a smaller laptop and the price was right. I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone.

Good Price BUT not for amateurs
Good price but I had trouble getting the browser and networking to work. I see myself as an educated user. Buy ONLY if you are familiar with Linux.

HP help line is no Help!
I never did get this HP 2133 lock into my router. HP help line give me the run around for over 5hrs. You have to talk to people in Mexico for 10 min. and they know nothing of the linux system and them they send you to India and they know even less. Ater wasting 3 days trying to set this thing up it's going back. I hope I never have to buy from or deal with HP again.

Not as decribed - does NOT work with HP pavillion series laptops
This AC adapter does NOT work with HP ZV5000 pavillion series laptops. The end that plugs into the computer is not the right size, and it does not fit into the computer. It is useless for HP laptops, so please be aware of that if that is your intended use.

Also, I do not have a compaq laptop, but owners of them should be wary of buying this product.

Love my mac
This is my first mac and I love it. I like that it's the original white shell, it's not hard to keep clean with monitor wipes. Picks up great wireless, has plenty of room for staying organized within the desktop with 'spaces' and 'stacks'. Enjoy if you buy it!

AMAZING
I bought this computer 2 years ago, and since then, I haven't had any problems. It is surprisingly hardy, I have dropped it many many times, and yet, only a tiny piece of plastic chipped off, which i easily fixed with glue. My sister also bought one after I was so satisfied, and it is amazing how easy to use these are. My grandmother now knows how to use my macbook

Great Bang! For Your Buck..
For the specs offered in this laptop @ the given price, it's defiantly a steal of a deal. Bought it a while now and I have had no complaints.

It's Fast, has lots of storage space and ram, also its not to heavy to carry around.

If i could do it all over again, I would. Buy it!

Toshiba Satellite L305-S5907 is a product that has a lot of good parts in it, however, the unit was sent to me ,...stops out of the 'blue' from time to time ,...and that is not normal for a solid PC.

My Baby
I love this laptop so much that, even my puppy is jealous of it. It was a snap to set up and now I am mobile with little luggage. Now, if I can find something to entertain my puppy so he will stop jumping on my lap between me and my computer, life will be so perfect=-) outstanding machine. I have loaded quite a few big files and she is running at lightening speed=-)

excellent for what it is
i am writing this review from this machine, using a wireless connection while i am on the go. it's exactly what it was meant to do. it's not for heavy computing of course, but for email, web browsing, etc, it's perfect. SO portable, comes with a little sleeve, the color is less cotton candy than i expected so i was pleasantly surprised. (i chose pink because at the time it seemed to be the one in stock at best price). keyboard slightly smaller than normal one so takes minor adjustment. no problems picking up internet, wireless and my home dsl wired connection. i haven't yet tried any spreadsheets or documents but will do. i loaded a lot of photos, some mp3's and some videos and no problem with anything. the sd card reader is also handy because i can pull the card from my cell phone or camera on the run.
if you are looking for exactly this, internet, email and basic computing on the run without having some tiny thing in the palm of your hand, but not schlepping around a heavy notebook--this is perfect for you!!! it's inexpensive and decent quality. happy with battery life so far too.
OH almost forgot, the webcam is a nice little bonus too. i'm always snapping pics with camera/phone and here's another easy way to take pics and wirelessly upload to share the moment.

Great little laptop!
I received my Acer Aspire One just about a week ago, and I'm hooked!

PROS: It really is amazing how small it is. I can fit it into my purse and I forget it's there. The battery life is very convenient (5.5 hours, so I don't have to carry cables around), and the video quality is very good. I have streamed TV episodes and watched iTunes videos, and it works great. Also, there is so much space on the hard drive that I can fill it up with music and movies with no problem. The built-in camera and mic work well with Skype. Also, just as a side note, as a woman, I am glad to finally have a feminine looking piece of electronics. The pink color is subdued and not at all inappropriate for professional use. There are other colors, though: black, brown, white, and blue.

CONS: The keyboard is quite small, so you need to have small hands. You can get used to it, though. With just a little practice, I am already typing away very quickly with only a few errors. The mouse buttons are placed on the side and are inconvenient, so I just use tapping and that takes care of that problem. The case that came with it doesn't afford much protection, but there are a few options online that can fit this model.

Overall, it is a great choice for a second laptop, and it lives up to the hype. You can't get any more mobile and affordable than this with this kind of quality and capacity. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great Machine
The new macbook pro is my first mac and I have to say I am enjoying it. I got the machine because I love OS X. The machine is plenty fast and the display is great. If you do any kind of development this is the machine to get.

Shiny useless piece of metal - the keyword is "BRICK"
Apple: It's just works (well, almost - if you do what we tell you to, TM).

Pros:
System is light, looks cool,
people think that you are rich.

Cons:

a) Overheating
If you need it for any real computing then get ready - system overheats.
Temperature of the GPU/CPU reaches over 170F - get external keyboard, or you will burn your hands.

b) Not Windows compatible
If you are planning to use Bootcamp and Windows be ready for frequent
system lockups (just check the apple forums for problems people are having with those notebooks)
Apple is unable to produce quality drivers for their hardware.
Windows hibernate/sleep doesn't work with mac (well, it works in 30% cases, so if you rebooting your system once a month, forget about it).
Sound drivers interfere with network card creating chipping sound.

b) Usability
Keyboard is unusable: say good buy to delete, page up/down, insert, right control keys.
New Mac Mousepad is unusable. Get ready to get an external mouse.
My previous notebook was Thinkpad - maaaan I miss that machine !!!

Please, note that i'm not covering compatibility with Ubuntu - since Apple never claimed support for that OS - so there you are on your own.

Bottom line - save yourself some time and money - get a Thinkpad (and Ubuntu if you want to have cool OS - believe me - much better USABLE and RELIABLE choice).

I'm returning this "brick".

Bad product, bad attitude
I bought a top-of-the-line version of this for my son for med but it turned out to be completely unreliable. And 9 of the 10 others in his class who had Lenovo's had the exact same experience. Only 1 was satisfied. What's worse, when we had a disagreement with Lenovo over whether we should pay for a repair that did not fix the problem, the head of Lenovo's customer service department told me -- and this is an exact quote -- "I don't care what's good for the customer, I care what's good for Lenovo. BEWARE!
